Heavy, and extra postage may be requested to destinations outside Australia. 275 pp. Louisa Anne Meredith is best known for her colonial books 'Notes and Sketches of New South Wales' (1844) and 'My Home in Tasmania' (1852), and her artwork. This sensitive biography of Mrs Meredith is based on extensive research in Australia and England, and is illustrated with original works by Mrs Meredith, reproduced in colour and black & white. The author, Vivienne Rae Ellis, is a talented Tasmanian writer on historical subjects. .
