Harper & Brothers, 1852. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Good in cloth (slight wear to spine/corners; rubbing/stains to cloth). Small 8vo 206+[10 ] Author's third book, a recounting of sights in various New York State locations associated with summer travel (particularly along the Hudson River), plus Trenton, Nahant and Newport. Particularly noteworthy for the engraved illustrations after drawings by Hudson River School artist John Frederick Kensett. BAL #4263. Wear chiefly to spine and corners; slight foxing to a few leaves, else a very good copy of a scarce item.over 15 Engraved Illustrations.
