This is a true UK first edition (First Impression) with 'First published in Great Britain 1950' and no reprint statement to the copyright page. A very good plus to near fine copy with and a small gift inscription to the verso of the front board else clean, tightly bound. In the original jacket which is price clipped, very light rubbing to the extremities. A scarce book that was originally published in German, adapted twice in English as "the Parent Trap" in 1961 and 1998. .
