But from the time that his mother sent a woman to their trailer to seduce him, he began to find that peaceful co-existence was a hard endeavor. His twilight path began shortly after Mildred had seduced him, the second seduction being by a boy near his own age. Having been jolted from his first foster home and called a "queer," he next lost another job because of his refusal to accept advances from a prominent business man. With any heart at all in your bosom, you can't help but feel a kindred sorrow for this boy, as well as some sort of a dislike for the people whose tolerance of the unfortunate goes no deeper than the first layer of skin on their bodies"--Back cover. .
