First UK edition of this novel sub titled some memories of a family and a town in Connecticut 1659-1906 wriitten with the authors inspiration from tales of her ancestors in that area. 299 pages in bright clean condition just very light browning to outer edges of pages and some browning on endpapers where dustwrapper flaps have lain. Many B/w illustrations, all present. Dustwrapper is browned and water stained on the inside which shows through a little on the front, spine is alittle darkened with some light rubbing to print, not price clipped, a pleasing example of this book SEE IMAGE.
