Baton Rouge: Louisiana State University Press, 1986. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. pp: 241. Light blue illustrated dust jacket lettered in red and white. Green cloth covered boards. The first edition with a $16.95 price on the flap. An early novel by Burke set in Montana, his second home. The novel is significant in that it already has the trademarks of his future books. This was Burke's last novel before he started both the Robicheaux and Holland series of books. A near fine copy in a dust jacket with light rubbing to the spine edge and folds. No additional shipping for an order of more than one book.
