About This Item

Portland, Oregon: Binfords and Mort, 1958. 5th Printing. Hardcover with grey boards. Near Fine/Very Good. FIfth printing (1958) of a book originally published in 1937. The book chronicles the work of Russian explorers, one in particular, to get a foot hold in the PNW area of North America.

This copy is in very nice condition for its age. It is clean and square, with only light toning to the edges of the paper. Dust jacket has a few chips and is priceclipped but is still nice and bright. A very nice collectable copy, and one that will be shipped with a new Brodart DJ cover.

About Librariana Fine Books

We believe that a library is much more than a room or a space. A library is a place to work, rest, love, think and dream. It is the heart of the home.

Our mission is to help individuals, families and organizations furnish their bookspaces in a way that reflects their personality and values.

Beginning with fine books, and extending to other "librariana" - art, antiques and collectibles that make a space a library. We also repair books, and consult with home owners, organizations and bookstore owners looking to make their bookspaces into purposeful sanctuaries.

Whether your bookspace is a corner shelf in a bedroom, or a grand corporate space for meetings and work, Librariana can help "improve your library".
