Barcelona: Hermenegildo Miralles, 1900. Hardcover. Very good. Second edition. 10.25 x 14.25 inches, oblong. In original red pictorial paper-covered boards, expertly rebacked with original spine cloth laid down, original decorative colored endpapers. Light dust soiling, rubbing to extremities; rippling to paper on rear board. Internally very clean and sound. A stunning collection of 28 lithograph color plates depicting a bullfight from start to finish, with explanatory text on facing pages in Spanish, French, English and German. Also four pages of sheet music ("Pany y Toros, Zarzuela en Trea Actos, Marcha de la Manoleria") with chromolithograph decorations. Perea (1834-1909) was well known for his bullfighting posters.
