All maps, photos and drawings intact; binding is tight but is cracked on the spine with all parts present and legible; edges rubbed and bumped, upper corner repaired with transparent tape; one foldout was apparently cut too long and the far edge is chipped and browned as indicated in the images; Morley's comprehensive study of the monuments and their inscriptions at the Honduran site of Copan, now a World Heritage Site. The volume is in remarkable shape with the foldouts appearing not to have been opened.

He afterward studied jurisprudence in the seminary at Puebla, and was admitted to the bar in 1847.
