Lori by Robert Bloch is another great classic horror novel described by Stephen King on the front cover as "I devoured Lori in a single night, in a single sitting. It's a terrifying read". Lori's nightmare begins with fire and a photograph. It will end with death - but whose? Lori returns home from college to a destroyed life; her childhood home is destroyed in a fire and her parents have died in the blaze. The family business is bankrupt. Soon, Lori discovers she is somehow linked to a stranger named Priscilla and Priscilla's yearbook photo is a photo of Lori, but Lori was not even born at that time. Who is this strange woman and what connects her to Lori? Soon Lori's nights are full of dark visions and yawning graves threatening to suck her in. The horrors grow and Lori can hear the dead calling her. Step-by-step she is drawn into murder, deceit and supernatural powers. Is Lori doomed or is someone else?
