About This Item
No dust jacket. The rear hinge has failed, and the cover is in need of repair. Hinge split in the front is still hanging on. Green fabric covered boards are decorated with a three-color illustration and orange text, with gilt text on the spine. The cover is worn and stained. Owner's name inside the front cover. The pages are tight and clean, other than one circular brown stain at the bottom of pages 159 to 181. Might be a drop of coffee or tea. This is a fairly rare book. A fictional account of interactions between settlers and Native Americans in the mid-17th century. Can't tell you if it is more historical or imaginative. I'll leave that to you.
