Original gilt lettered red cloth, top edges red (small stain on fore-edge of vol II - otherwise near Fine), dustwrapper (tears at nicks at edges - in protective covers, not price clipped), slipcase (rubbed at edges). Pp. 423 [&] 352 [&] 416, illus with folding map at the rear of each volume (front inner hinge loosened at gutter facing title page of vol I; previous owner's neat inscription on front paste-down of vol I).
Synopsis
