Hardcover. 186 pp., (i)-(viii) ads; sq. 8vo; original gilt stamped red cloth; all edges gilt; nine mounted albumen photographs with tissue guards of scenes and landscapes, including one circular vignette on title page. Publisher's advertisemet in back names Russell Sedgfield, and Stephen Thompson as photographers for the nine images. Front joint cracked with wear to top of spine; modrate soil; front hinge cracked with rough & jagged repair still holding fairly firm. Moderate foxing to tissue guards, plate pages show occasional soil at foredge, otherwise pages and particularly the mounted photographs clean. .
