Small hardcover,3.25 x 4.75 inches, is full bound in red leather, with gold spine lettering. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Gilt school emblem from St. Mark's School, Southborough, stamped on the front cover. "Prize for Declamation" bookplate from St. Mark's School with handwritten name on front endpaper, attached at top edge only. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked; leather along front spine edge is cracking and worn. Covers have moderate edge wear and surface rubbing. Covers lightly soiled. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips. Pages lightly tanned, more so at periphery, but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. 130 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
