A collection of four comic mystery and crime stories: Lord Arthur Savile's Crime, The Canterville Ghost, The Sphinx Without a Secret, and The Model Millionaire. The second work is a comic ghost story.

While the print run for this book was, compared to other Wilde titles, relatively large at 2000 copies, the binding is notoriously fragile, bound in printed thin salmon-colored paper over boards. Copies in collectible condition are scarce.

First edition (first printing). A near fine copy, with minor wear to the spine. Head-and-shoulders above most copies and surely one of the finest still surviving. Housed in a folding chemise and a matching slipcase.
