Lacking front free endpaper, front hinge cracked, binding somewhat loose but holding. No marks in text. Covers show considerable edge wear, fraying top and bottom of spine. A good reading copy of the First Edition, published May, 1911.

Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson (January 21, 1824 – May 10, 1863) was a Confederate general during the American Civil War, and the best-known Confederate commander after General Robert E. Lee. Jackson played a prominent role in nearly all military engagements in the Eastern Theater of the war until his death, and played an important part in winning many significant battles.
