Foreword by Daniel Finkelstein, House of Lords, 12 June 2015, Original Preface to The Long Night by Professor Dr. Max Mikorey, introduction by author and appendices. At the beginning of the book there is a letter from the Right Honourable David Cameron MP, Prime Minister of United Kingdom to the author's daughter  Noemie Lopian (nee Bornstein); who also translated the original text from German. At the end of the book there are six pages of black and white photographs. Photographic paperback binding with white and black coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. The biography of the author who survived living in a German ghetto in the late 1930s in Germany, then, surviving 12 different work (read slave) concentration camps during World War II. A little rubbing of the book edges and panels with the front panel starting to curl. First edition of the work in this format and binding, and/or set or series. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
