This time it is a cousin, Logan Sackett, facing treacherous enemies and needing beef cattle, that sets Tell Sackett as well as Orrin and Tyrel, and a thousand head of cattle across the Dakota plains to western Canada. First Printing of True First Edition (with complete numberline). Mass market paperback, 194 pages followed by a one-page biographical sketch, an excerpt from "Comstock Lode" and four pages of ads. Pictorial wrappers with three rough-looking cowboys staring at the reader on the front cover and small photo of L'Amour on the back cover. Some surface wear including light reading creases and dime-sized area in upper corner of front cover where a sticker of some sort was probably removed. Text edges dyed yellow. Light age-tanning, o/w wrappers and text are clean, complete, and unmarked.
