New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1932. Hardcover. Small 4to. Black cloth with gilt spine lettering and large color plate to front board. xi, 431pp, (3pp). Color frontispiece, 7 called-for full-page color plates, numerous line drawings, pictorial endpapers. Very good. Faint binding edgewear only. Handsome and tight first edition thus of the celebrated 1932 autobiography by the noted Western writer and artist. (1892-1942) -- first thus since this edition adds seven full-page plates in text not present in the 1930 first edition. Scarce.
