The Caxton Publishing Company, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. Special Edition. 877 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Sepia photographic frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Map to rear endpapers. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Plates are brighter. Binding is slightly shaky, but all pages remain attached. Visible water stain to fore edge of textblock. Pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Spine is severely sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Visible marks overall, including water stains and ring mark. Book has a slight forward lean.
