Ward, Lock & Co. Ltd.; C.1885 but undated. Hardcover with no dust cover. Rare copy of William M. Thayers work on the Life of James A. Garfield U.S.President. Green cloth covered boards with gilt and Black decoration and lettering to front board and spine. Gilt and green covering faded. Corners bumped and rubbed. Cloth at external guttering split front and back. Foxing to first couple of front and rear pages. Inscription to rear of FFEP dated to 1886. Some thumb marks. Fair/well used condition.
