Magazine. 33-64p., 6x9 inches; wraps slightly soiled from handling, some minor pencil notation on front wrap with a name in purple pencil, spine mildly rubbed, else in very good condition. Content focuses on the Great Depression and the unemployed. Single issue of Paul Mattick's journal founded in 1934 by the council communist organization, the United Workers Party of America. The journal went through several name changes including International Council Correspondence, Living Marxism, and New Essays.
