Book Condition: Very Good +; light wear to tail and lower tips from shelving. DJ: Very Good -; closed tear at head; missing small piece at front lower tip; rubbing to spine and flap folds. Pictorial cloth boards and spine with brown lettering on the spine and front board. Laid in is a newspaper clipping about a Victorian House in Wichita the author lived in as a child. 225 pp 8vo. This is a family story that begins with who came to Wichita Kansas in the 1800s, who bought land in Bixby Oklahoma and raised a family there, of the military service in WWII of her three sons, and especially of Lt. William Herman Wilson, a fighter pilot who was lost and never recovered in North Africa. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
