Dark green calf half binding with green cloth boards, 5 raised bands, gilt lettering on spine, end papers marbled, top edge of text block gilt, each volume with numerous b&w photographic illustrations and several color illustrations with tissue. Condition of each volume is GOOD+: wear and soiling to covers and spine overall, heavier to edges and corners, spine edges more worn, spines darkened, edges of text block lightly darkened, numerous pages dogeared, end papers foxed, many pages with overall foxing- color illustrations clean, bindings tight, bound by Bickers and Son as stated. Science, RGR.
