About This Item

London, UK Faber & Faber , 1935. Hardcover First Edition UK (1935), Ninth Printing (1956). Very Good in Very Good DJ. The Book shows just a hint of wear to the backstrip; some tanning to the endpapers and a couple flecks of foxing to the fore-edge; a former owner's name inscribed in small letters at the top of the front free endpaper; the binding is slightly cocked off square but remains perfectly secure; the text is clean. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. A handsome copy, showing minor, unobtrusive flaws. Bright gilt titles at the backstrip. Corners sharp. A well-cared for copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing a little wear and a few minor cosmetic imperfections. The DJ shows a tiny snag at the head of the backstrip; mild rubbing and very faint toning to the greyish blue background field; the spine is slightly toned (the red and black titles thereon remain bold and clearly legible; the price has been clipped; mylar-protected. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.25 x 5.75 x 1 inches). 267 pages. Bibliography. Index. Language: English. Weight: 16.6 ounces. First Edition UK (1935), Ninth Printing (1956).
