About This Item
Cambridge: William Pickering, 1851. 2nd edition, 8vo, 426pp, two-colour printing to one or two pages; rebound in what might be unkindly described as a somewhat garish purple cloth decorated gilt with brown leather spine and printed paper spine label; the inner paper hinges have sprung although the binding is sound, and a previous owner has extensively but neatly and knowledgeably annotated the various texts, confined to margins and not at all intrusive; by and large a decent example, bound without half title if there ever was one; VG Copy. 20th Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
