About This Item
London: Longmans, Green & Co. Very Good-. 1875. Hardcover. Any copy of this book I have seen looks as if it was produced in 1875, but whether it was or not, I am not sure - as they differ in appearance! This one has a beautiful cover in deep green cloth and the illustration all done in gold gilt, so it is certainly a luxurious edition - whether a 1st edition, I can't be sure. See the picture on our website. The head & tail of spine are worn; ; the brown endpapers are present, but the fep is partially detached; no inscriptions/handwriting; 7 plates; an attractive book. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
