London: James Blackwood & Co. Book. Poor. Cloth. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. No date, but c.1860. Maroon colour cloth with titles in gilt on spine and and image of and owl and a duck in college uniform on the front cover. Condition: Poor to fair, covers and spine are quite shelfworn and rubbed, watermark to corners of front pastedown and fep, not affecting text in any way. Previous owners name in pencil on fep. Front hinge beginning to crack, but otherwise binding sound. Browning to half-title, otherwise text clean with very occasional light soiling. 200pp. plus publishers list. Charming period b/w images throughout text by the author. .
