New York: E. P. Dutton & Company, 1895. First Edition. Hardcover. Good+. 50 p. 23 cm. Eight charming examples of tissue photogravure printing. Cloth with multi-colour impressing. Mild spotting to cloth, corners bumped, minor chip in cloth of spine, spine ends repaired. Pencil and ink inscription a front leaf. Thumbing throughout and a few small tears. Large tear in p. 11 not affecting text.

A little boy's adventures when away from his mother for the first time. A very sweet late Victorian tale with an apparent Scottish flavour.
