East Aurora, NY: Roycrofters, 1904. First Edition. Paperback. Very good. 8vo. 8"x6". Sewn wraps. All volumes in very good condition with minor shelf wear to wraps, and several have unopened pages. All are complete as issued with portrait pages laid in. The exceptions are Spencer and Schopenhauer, which have their portraits bound in (a common binding error), and Aristotle and Marcus Aurelius, which lack their portraits.
This is a collection of 9 antique books hand-printed by the Roycrofters, the celebrated arts and crafts community of East Aurora, NY. These are from the 1904 Great Philosophers series (Vol. XIV and XV). (McKenna 104)
