Olive textured cloth with black cover lettering and decoration, gilt spine lettering and decoration, gilt top edge, 396 pages, plus publisher's advertisements. The book is in very good with very lightly rubbed joints, spine ends, sound text block, good hinges, notation on front free endpaper, otherwise clean pages with no markings. A story of two women whose high ideals were gradually dissolved through properous marriages. . Hard Cover. Very Good/No. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
