Reviews

On Sep 14 2020, a reader said:
There has been many publications of this book over the years but I was particularly after the yellow cover from 1974. It arrived in exceptional condition for its age and is my second book through Biblio from this series and time frame. It arrived fairly quickly and was packaged very securely. I could have purchased a more accessible edition but this one has the sentimental value I was seeking. I'm very please with my purchase and will treasure it always. Thank you

This is a wonderful book, beautifully illustrated. Young readers will enjoy the true story of Laura and her sister Mary. This book is a significant piece of Americana, as well, and should be read by all children to understand what 19th century America was about.Abbie Rheinhart
