About This Item
London, England: J. M. Dent and Co., 1898. The Temple Classics : Edited by Israel Gollancz, M. A. : Good condition Hardcover 16mo with no dust jacket, 1898, 1st edition, 320 pp. Blue leatherette stiff-wraps have light wear and bumped tips. There is an embossed owl on the front cover. Inside the front cover is a printed-in commemorative stamp which reads "Ugolino Brunforte, Born 1262 Died 1348, Earliest Dated Manuscript AD 1390". I believe the stamp to be original with the printing of the book. There is also a tiny sticker inside the front cover which reads "Blackwell's, Oxford, England". The page head edge is trimmed and gilt. The other two edges are rough-cut. The interior is unmarked and solid, but aging. RARE EDITION. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 16mo - 5.5" to 6.5" Tall. Book.
