About This Item
New York: Harcourt Brace, 1937. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/very good +. New York: Harcourt Brace, 1937. First Edition. Near Fine in VG+ jacket. Inscribed by Saroyan to Dr. Ernst du Bray, a prominent San Francisco physician and Saroyan collector. Book is lovely, tight and clean, with only some minor acid offset on the back blank pages from articles about Saroyan laid in by Dr. du Bray (and still present). Cloth boards are fresh and bright. All pages white, no spotting. DJ is a strong VG+, just a couple of very short closed tears and minimal handling wear. A superb copy with a strong association.
