Synopsis

An account of the Spanish-American War which led to the American acquisition of the Philippines. Besides relating the military and political events in both America and the Philippines, valuable data is given about the Filipino nationalists--Emilio Aguinaldo, Apolinario Mabini, Antonio Luna, and Gregorio del Pilar.
