Illustrated paper boards, in original grey box with matching cover illustration. Box soiled and rubbed, lid split at joints, lacking small (4 cm) piece at bottom edge. Book spine split near foot, boards lightly soiled and rubbed at edges, binding remains tight. First page of text has a phrase rubbed out and replaced in ink by previous owner "...[she was called Babs] for short." Bright color illustrations throughout. A group of magical household fairies aid Little Babs in her quest to find a chum.
