Boston: Estes and Lauriat, 1880. Hardcover. Very Good. Slim hardcover in decorated paper covered boards and half vellum lettered and decorated in blue (differing in design form the dated 1912 edition). No date but probably 1880-1892, with 1892 pencilled Gift inscription front free endpaper. 32 pp.Illustated with full and partial drawings in olive green. Very good, vellum moderately solied and some wear to the tips. Narrow adheasions to the edges of a few pages. Short Christmas tale set in Italy.
