Crisp, clean pages except for modest foxing around edges; no owners' marks; full cloth hard cover shows only mild shelfwear at spine heel; dust jacket bears several short scratches at the right front, some edge chipping and tiny creases and tears at corners and spine ends, and light foxing around flap edges and along left rear, but remains overall sound and attractive, now protected in a clear sleeve. xiv, 287pp. incl. index.
