London: Macmillan and Co., Limited. Good+. 1932. First Edition. Hardcover. 400 p. 20 cm. Sound and square binding in red, cloth-covered boards, with gilt spine titles and elephant motif on upper board. Top fore-corner of lower board has been nibbled. Other corners have a little wear. A little soil and staining to the text block edges. Top edge is gilt. Inside pages are generally clean and unmarked, with slight toning. A few leaves have tiny creases to the bottom front corner. Dust jacket has edge and corner wear, heaviest to corners and including some tiny chips and creases. The spine is darkened. Faint pencil check marks on rear panel. A collection of short stories. .
