Seattle: University of Washington Book Store, 1927. Paperback. Very Good +. [2], 26, [2] p.: title vignette (publisher's emblem?), frontispiece portrait of Lillian Gish; 19 cm. Light blue wrappers printed in black within decorative border with same vignette. Decorative initial letter in blue and black. Biographical Note about Lillian Gish follows the text. University of Washington Chapbooks, edited by Glenn Hughes, no. 7. The author, Edward Wagenknecht (1900-2004), was an American literary critic who also wrote on film. He received his PH.D. in 1932 from the University of Washington, where he taught from 1925 to 1943. This was his first published work. In Very Good+ Condition: head of spine rubbed; spine slightly faded; clean and bright.
