Lika Joko, London, 1895. First Edition. Softcover. Good Condition. Size: 4to - between 9¾ - 12" tall. 520 pp. 26-volume set (complete). Binding firm. This set is published over the period 1894 - 1895. Complete run of al 26 issues of Lika Joko in original paper covers. Some marking and creasing to covers. Staples rusted. Bindings firm. A couple of issues have the odd small tear to covers. Edges foxed and browned. Some foxing internally. Furniss left Punch in 1894 when its owners discovered that he had sold one of his 'Punch' drawings to Pears Soap for use in an advertising campaign. He then brought out his own humorous magazine Lika Joko, which had limited success at the time. Profusely illustrated. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 2-5 kilos.
