Based on the 1960 German novel, wherein a crew of bored sailors stationed on a floating lighthouse must suddenly fight to defend their vessel from a criminal trio seeking to overtake the ship. An early draft of the script, written seven years before the film's release.
Set and shot on location in Germany.
Blue untitled wrappers. Title page present, dated November 1978, with credits for screenwriter and novelist Siegfried Lenz, screenwriter Rainer Soehnlein, and translator Scott Morrison. 206 leaves, with last page of text numbered 202. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good plus, with silver prong binding.
