Bound in publisher's glossy color pictorial wrappers; unattributed reprod of likeness of (presumably) St. Clare to front. [Viii] pp prelim material, 50 numbered pp Intros (by George H. Speltz and Peter W. Bartholome), ten chapters on the history and life of this Roman Catholic monastery/convent; afterword, including list of abbesses, chaplains, sisters who died and were interred at the monastery, and the schedule of a typical day. Many b&w photos and drawings. Condition notes: a very good, clean, sound, unmarked copy; no spine crease; interior lightly tanned. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
