"Auckland Sunday School Union" rubber stamp on front endpaper. Numerous tears up to 2" long to margins of dust wrapper. 1/4" missing at ends of dust wrapper spine. 2/3" chip to centre of dust wrapper spine. Dust wrapper protected in archival mylar cover. ; 223 pages. Blue cloth covers with black lettering on spine. Inscribed by the author in blue ink on verso of half-title page - "with congratulations and Best Wishes for good success in all your life T E Riddle". "[...] we see Tom Riddle as sailor-man missionary in the New Hebrides, as Y. M. C. A. Secretary in France, as a Captain in a cavalry regiment in North West India calling on his men to "Charge, " as a missionary itinerant on the steep slopes of the foot-hills of the Himalayas, as a settled missionary in the Kharar District of the Pubjab and then as the Executive Secretary of the United Church of North India on the move once again from Burma to Kashmir in the service of the Church and the Church's Master.
