NY: The Lamb Publishing Company, 1900. 1st Edition Thus. Hardcover. Near Fine. 12 volume set, complete, uniformly bound in autumn leaf leather, with identical gilt front and rear covers, ruled dentelles, more gilt to spine, five raised bands, gte, sides untrimmed. Binding unsigned. Limited to 130 sets for subscribers only, this set numbered 177 in all volumes. Volume 1 notes that this set was printed for A. Jaekel, with his name artistically painted in water color on the limitation page. Frontispieces are mezzotints by S. Arlent-Edwards, with printed tissue guards, in each volume, 62 plates in all. Near fine set, untrimmed sides a bit tanned/ browned. Internals fine. Covers quite nice, a few very minor abrasions here and there.
