Quadri-Centennial Edition limited to 402 copies, numbered from 1492 to 1893, this copy No.1501 and has been printed for Walter Lee Brown. This Limited Edition has included a number of extra plates. 3 volumes. Vol I - xviii + pp399 front hinge cracked with limitation page/frontis and title page loose but present. Vol II - xi + pp461 front hinge cracked. Vol III - xiv + pp425 with front hinge starting. All volumes binding is firm and holding nicely. All plates Illustrated with etchings and steel engravings on India paper and photogravures on Japan paper have been collated and copies are complete. Full vellum bindings with gilt borders ands armorial device to front board and gilt titles to spine in very good condition with a little discolouration that often happens with vellum. Insied all pages and plates in very good and clean condition. A nice rare Limited Edition set.
