This book is in very good condition. There is minimal to no wear on the front, back and spine of the cover boards. There is no wear on the edges and some slight bumping on the top of the spine corners.The previous owners name is written on the inside of the front cover board and his stamp is affixed ro the front end page. This book is in good condition. There is wear on the front, back and spine of the cover boards and the edges are worn as well. The corners are bumped as well. The previous owners names are affixed and written on the inside of the front and back cover boards.There is staining on the front, back and spine of the cover boards. The author, Georg Heinrich Loskiel (1740-1814), was a Moravian minister from Latvia who came to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1801 to head the Moravian community. This collection of daily spiritual meditations was published in Budissin (now Bautzen, Ger.) shortly before he left Europe for the United States. Lee Lozowick, 1975. Paperback. Used - very good condition. Book is clean and tight with some shelf wear and signs of age/use. Front cover is creased vertically along spine and about 1.25" from spine. Bottom corner of front cover is also creased. Light bumping at corners and edges. Back cover is tanned around edges and has dry residue from a sticker on the original price marking.
