Grant, it is sent forth to their hearts and homes." Two parts: Part I, Life of General U.S. Grant, 142 pp.; Part II, Life of General U.S. Grant Since the War, 594 pp. Elegantly illustrated. Brown decorative cloth covers with black embossed image and gilt image of home with Edgewood Edition noted. Cover corners are bumped and rubbed to boards, edges are rubbed. Spine tips are bent, fraying and have small tears. Small water spots and dirt smudges. Title page is starting to separate from rest of book, but it still attached. Front hinge broken and may be missing a page between title page and preface. Interior pages are browning and some very mild foxing, but tight. Book in Good+ to VG- condition.. Cloth. Good + to Very Good-. Illus. by Illustrated. Size: Approx. 6 " x 9 ". American President.
