He drafted the Peoples Charter, was secretary to the London Working Mens Association, Lovett believed that political rights could be garnered through political pressure and non-violent agitation. CONDITION Puble blind embossed bds with Gilt titles (spine age darkened and gilt rubbed, else very sl wear to spine ends, top cnrs faintly bruised) Lemon eps are bright and clean (gutter split to paper at front not effecting mull) pp vii 473. Copy is crisp and bright with very occaisional age spot to ends and edges. OVERWEIGHT. First Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/N/A. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
