Both volumes are bound in dark brown cloth decorated with a gold monument to Henry Clay, edges are worn bare, fabric is dulled with age and worn. Spine is worn to threads at head/tail, god decoration is dulled with age. Some glue spots inside cover of both, foxing and stains, both front hinges are weak. 1843 Second Edition.
